Community Partner Advisory Board

South Florida Tech Hub’s Community Partner Advisory Board brings together a select group of nonprofit, educational, civic, economic development, and community organizations that play an important role in the region’s technology and innovation ecosystem.

Diverse co-workers engaged in a collaborative discussion during an office meeting, working with a laptop.

These organizations are deeply connected to the communities we serve. They support entrepreneurs, develop talent, expand access to opportunity, strengthen local economies, and help connect people and institutions across South Florida.

For Tech Hub, they are essential partners.

The Advisory Board gives these organizations a direct connection to South Florida Tech Hub and to one another, creating a forum to share priorities, identify opportunities for collaboration, and help inform the work we do across the region.

Working Across the Ecosystem

South Florida’s technology economy does not exist in isolation. It is supported by universities, schools, economic development organizations, workforce groups, nonprofits, entrepreneurial organizations, and civic institutions working across multiple counties and communities.

The Community Partner Advisory Board helps connect that work.

Members are invited to participate in strategic discussions around talent, entrepreneurship, economic development, technology, and other issues affecting the region. The goal is to improve communication, reduce duplication, identify gaps, and create more opportunities for organizations to work together.

Just as importantly, the Advisory Board helps keep Tech Hub grounded in what is happening across South Florida’s individual communities.

Participation in the Community Partner Advisory Board is by invitation and is separate from South Florida Tech Hub’s paid membership structure.

It is intended for organizations that are actively contributing to South Florida’s technology, entrepreneurial, educational, civic, workforce, or economic development ecosystem and that share our interest in building a more connected region.

The value of the Advisory Board is simple: get the organizations doing important work across South Florida into closer conversation with one another.

For South Florida Tech Hub, these partners are more than outside organizations we work with.

They are part of the fabric of the community we are here to serve.
